Karen Michelle Harrison
(July 19, 1983 – February 9, 2023)
Karen Michelle Harrison, 39 of Braxton, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 9, 2023, in Magee, Mississippi. She was born on Tuesday, July 19, 1983, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Ms. Karen was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a graduate of Mendenhall High School. She continued her education at Co-Lin Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi, where she became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She enjoyed spending time with her family on the beach, taking vacations, and skating. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mandy Neumann.
Survivors include her one daughter, Desaray Lewis of Braxton, MS; two sons, Keyshawn Lewis of Braxton, MS and Kentrell Neumann of Braxton, MS; two grandchildren, Amara Lewis of Braxton, MS and Quinnterio Lewis of Braxton, MS; mother, Joyce Ainsworth Hensarling (Mark) of Braxton, MS; father, Arthur Neumann of TN; one nephew, Tyler Green of Braxton, MS; one niece, Ivyonna Green of Braxton, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holly Grove Baptist Church, 782 Holly Grove Cir., Braxton, Mississippi, 39044, and on Monday, February 13, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Grove Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Clear View Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Bro. Johnathan Burnham will officiate. Special music will be performed by Tracey Rutland. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401
Pallbearers will be Kyle Sherman, Eric Taylor, David Pippin, Ricky Ainsworth, Dwayne Cooper, and Steven Grantham.
