Jean Carol Austin Greenhill of Clinton, Mississippi

Jean Carol Austin Greenhill, 85, of Clinton, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, August, 8, 2021 at Strong River Villa in Mendenhall. She was born Wednesday, April 8, 1936.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

 Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. The Burial will follow in Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Bro. Larry Mills will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

 Mrs. Greenhill was an avid flower grower. She won many awards for her yard and she was a member of the Homeowner Association for Huntcliff subdivision. She received Woman of the Year award from the Business Women’s Association. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Greenhill each year had a flower sale, and she was well known especially for her roses.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, William Greenhill, parents, Robert Clarence and Ottis Austin; two sisters, Pat Ware and Nancy Sullivan; two brothers, Jimmy Austin and Bobby Austin.

 Survivors include her two children, Ralph Dewayne Greenhill and Tammie Maldonado (Robert); grandchildren, Austin Greenhill, Grace Marie Greenhill, Brooklyn Maldonado, Christa Maldonado, and  Aaliyah Maldonado; brother, Howard Austin (Ethel); sisters, Ann McCallum (Walter), and Lynn McLean; brothers, Wayne Austin (Janet) and Joe Austin (Rosemary); and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Pallbearers will be Walter McCullum, Ryne McCullum, Stan Austin, Jon Edward King, Landon Austin, and Eddie King.  Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh McCullum
