James Myers, 64 of Pinola, MS passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at his home in Pinola, MS. He was born Saturday, March 26, 1960 in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Fresh Anointing of Hazlehurst. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Fresh Anointing of Hazlehurst. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery. Bro. Seth Cliburn and Bro. Tyson Lambert will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

 He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin  D. Myers , Sr.; mother, Rachel  Bullock Myers; brother, Alvin D. Myers , Jr. (Buggy); nephews, David  Myers and Dewayne  Scott;  niece, McKenzie  Carter;  father-in-law, Carl  Hixon;  brother-in-law, Thomas (Dinky) Welch;  sister-in-law, Cindy Hixon.

 Survivors include his wife, Carla  Myers of Pinola, MS; sons, James  Martin  (Alleigh ) of Pinola and Daniel Myers (Lucy) of Harrisville; daughter, Heather  Martin  (John Millis) of Pinola;  grandchildren, Bentley  Peacock, Genevieve  Martin, Bo Hudson, Madelyn  Hudson, Maggie-Layne  Hudson, Bryanna  Myers, Blake  Myers and Huck  Myers;  sisters, Lucretia  Myers  of Pearl, Melissa  Dunaway  (Chris) and Angela Welch of Harrisville;  great grandchild, Colton  Martin;  mother-in-law, Jean Hixon of Hazlehurst;  sister-in-laws, Connie  Cooper (John), Marie  Myers  of Harrisville.

Pallbearers will be James Martin, Dillon Cooper, Dustin Carter, John Cooper, Daniel Myers, Blake Myers, Devin Davis, and John Millis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bentley Peacock, Huck Myers, Bo Hudson, and Kolten Boler.
