J. D. Davis, 85, of Cleveland, Mississippi, passed away Friday, August, 23, 2019 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, January 14, 1934.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee in Magee. The Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgene Davis; parents, Jim and Janie Davis; son, Rusty Davis; sisters, Hattie Parrett, Velma Morgan, Sadie Graves, and Pennie Davis; brothers, K.C. Davis, Tracy Davis, and Frank Davis.
Survivors include his sisters, Becky Tanner, Vennie `Smith, Dovie Bishop; brother, Preston Davis.
