Listen today as God speaks to you in a still small voice. Some people have a God made of plastic, wood, stone, and other things. These God’s are lifeless. Today our reading comes from Isaiah 44:6. thus saith the Lord the King of Israel and His redeemer the Lord of hosts. I am the first and I am the last and beside me there is no God.
Isaiah tells us that God is the only God. All other people and things fail only God himself will see us though our deepest valley and bring us to our highest mountain top. God is our pilot not our co-pilot. Some people have a God that is dead.
Our God is the redeemer of all men. God is not an idol. He is a man who brought love and life eternal at a place call Calvary. God is large enough to cover the world but yet small enough to fit into our heart.
