Kay is a fighter and an encourager…keep your prayers going for this sweet lady!

Speaking of encourager. I received a phone call from Bob Roberts formerly of Magee who now lives in Colorado telling me how much he enjoys and appreciates MageeNews.com. As with anyone, sometimes you get discouraged…I love MageeNews.com….I love Magee and all of Simpson County and enjoy reporting the news of our area…but my brain is slowing down…half the time I can’t spell or make a complete sentence…when someone gives you a thank you…the compliment is like an energizer to push you on and know others “over look” your short comings! Thank you Ray. You have no idea what you phone call meant to me.

Don’t forget the program on Adoption Thursday night at the Family Life Center of FBC of Magee. The program begins at 6:30….a great way to learn about adoption!

Central Auto Parts of Magee (NAPA) store will have a ribbon cutting a huge day of activities on Friday, November 20. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10. The gigantic tool sale begins at 6:30 AM…and the “Rock ‘n Roll Tool Event” begins Friday morning and will be on site until 4 PM. Racecars, motorcycles, food and deals are apart of the day. Just saying, your kids and husbands will love this!!!

Don’t forget I have Christmas Tour of Home tickets for sale $10. Homes on the tour are: Lee and Beth Moore, Danny Moseley, and Bill and Linda Bennett. Refreshments will be served at the Bennett home. Sunday, December 6th from 2-4

December 3rd is the Christmas Parade. Contact Doris at the Chamber for additional info. (601-849-2517)

Be sure and read the Wally Beach Trophy article and give your opinion…under County News….interesting.

Have a wonderful day…I may be back…so watch for additional updates. Let the day begin!
