He was a retired businessman and owner of Hall’s Aluminum Company. He was a long time member of Corinth Baptist Church. A Thirty-Second Degree Scottish Rite Mason, he was a faithful member of John P. Byrd Lodge No. 629 for many years. He was also a member of The Wahabi Temple.
G.W. is survived by his devoted wife, Betty (Lee) Hall; two sons, Greg Hall (Cheryl), Mike Hall (Glinda); two sisters, Vernette Reedy (Leslie), Verlene Gillon (Bobby); four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 14, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church, 207 Church Road, Magee. Services are Monday, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Jay Wesbrooks and Bro. Raymond Jeffcoat will officiate.
