A tragic accident took the life of Ethan Marshall Moore, 24, on October 17, 2018, while working in Magee, MS. Ethan was born in Lafayette, LA, and grew up in Ocean Springs, MS, until the age of eight, when his family moved to Covington, LA.
Ethan is survived by his parents, Whitney Butler (Kraig) Lutz and Markham Moore. He is also survived by his brothers, Elliot Moore, Evan Lutz, Joshua Lutz; sister, Tyler Moore (Ryan) Kostal; grandmother, Margit Wingfield; grandfather, Warren (Margaret) Butler; and grandmother, Patricia Moore. Ethan left behind two beautiful nieces, aunts, uncles, and many loving cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Douglas Moore, and grandmother, Mary Lou Moore.
Ethan was a gentle soul with a beautiful heart. He loved wholeheartedly and had a smile that would light up a room. He was thoughtful, kind, and a friend to all that he met. He loved the outdoors and spent every opportunity he had on the water. When he was ten, Ethan picked up a guitar and discovered his true passion. He played like a professional and captivated any crowd. Ethan cherished the special bonds he had with his siblings. He was adored by his loving mother and father and will be sorely missed by so many who had the pleasure to know him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in celebration of his life on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, at the Pontchartrain Yacht Club, 140 Jackson Ave., Mandeville, LA, 70448.
