February 17 Dixie National Rodeo Performance to Continue

Ticket Holders Unable to Travel Due to Weather Can Have Tickets Reissued for Thursday or Friday

JACKSON, Miss.  – The Wednesday, February 17, performance of the Dixie National Rodeo is taking place as scheduled. However, ticketholders that can’t travel to the show due to the inclement weather can have their tickets reissued for the Thursday, February 18, show at 7:00 p.m. featuring Sawyer Brown or the Friday, February 19, show featuring Frank Foster. Tickets will be reissued for tickets of equal value.  Ticket holders needing to have tickets reissued are to call the Coliseum Ticket Office at 601-353-0603.

“Safety is our number one priority. We realize that some may not be able to travel today due to the weather. The option for a ticket reissuance will still allow fans the opportunity to see a world class rodeo,” said Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson. “Cowboys and cowgirls have come from across the country to participate, and they are here at the Fairgrounds ready to compete. We are grateful that we had the chance to extend the rodeo for two days. Many of the rodeo participants have other competitions that they are going to once they leave Jackson.”
