Fatal crash on MS-28 in Simpson County.
At 9:45 p.m., MHP was advised of a crash on MS 28 near Simpson Central Middle School in Simpson County.
Preliminary reports indicate that a motorcycle was traveling eastbound, when the motorcyclist lost control and was ejected into the roadway. After being ejected from his motorcycle, he was then struck by a westbound Kia Rio. The motorcyclist died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the Kia Rio was was not injured.
The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as: Dennis Wayne Franklin 50 of Pinola, MS
