A 24 year old oil rig worker was killed Tuesday PM following a wind storm which tipped the 55 foot tall work-over oil rig. The rig was located on the Simpson County -Smith County line off highway 28 and Mangum Garner Road.
Coroner Terry Tutor said the young man was still strapped in safety gear when the accident occurred. Challenger Deepwell Servicing owns the well.
