Elouise Johnson McGee passed away on October 13, 2017 at the age of 73. She is survived by her loving daughter, Shannon Brown, her son-in-law Tom Brown, and granddaughter Abby Brown of Summit, MS, her son, Jason McGee, daughter-in-law Tatiana McGee, and granddaughter Alexia McGee of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by her brother Joe Johnson of Brandon, MS and her sister Doris Jens of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Jimmy McGee, her parents Cullen and Ruby Johnson, and her sister Mildred Ray.

Elouise retired from Entergy where she made many life-long friends. In her spare time she loved making beautiful baby quilts and caring for her African violets.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2 pm to celebrate her life at Brandon Memorial Gardens. Services will be officiated by Pastor JT Laird and directed by Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Brandon. Fellowship will follow the service at Patrick Farms clubhouse.

Honorary pallbearers are Patsy Burney, Roxanne Pryor, Anita Ray, Emma Culbertson, Donna Beatty, Mary Easterling, Joan Blakeney, Sherell Williams, Sarah Tucker, Jeannie May, Rose Lawson, and Melba Watkins.
