Elden “Benji” Puckett

Elden “Benji” Puckett passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2019, at the age of 85 at his residence in Mendenhall, MS. He was born on July 24, 1934, to his parents Jerome and Albertine (Edwards) Puckett in Magee, MS.
Elden served in the National Guard and retired as a Long Shore Man #1303. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Neele Welch Puckett; son, Bryan B. Puckett; daughter, Rhonda Puckett and six grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Hudson Puckett, Jerome Puckett, Juanita Hopkins and Golden Puckett.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
