Edith Jeanette Bryant of Raleigh, Mississippi

Edith Jeanette Bryant, 87, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs. She was born Wednesday, December 6, 1933.

 Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

 Graveside Services will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Bryant Family Cemetery in Raleigh. Bro. Steve Pouncey will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

 Mrs. Bryant was a member of First Baptist Church of Raleigh. She was loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bryant; parents, William and Nora Kennedy; brothers, William C. (Dub) Kennedy, Bobby Charles Kennedy; sister, Carylon Louise Mayfield and Emma (Beth) Elizabeth Bryant; father and mother-in-law, Lem and Mary Bryant of Raleigh; niece, Tina Bryant.; one grandson, Danny Earl Smith.

Survivors include her children, Donna (Ivey) Blakeney (Doug) of Raleigh, Donald Oree Bryant (Donna) of Raleigh, David Keith Bryant (Barbara) of Raleigh, Beverly Brewer (Jack Turner) of Stringer, Ricky Lavon Bryant (Frances) of Mt. Olive, Rosemary Smith (Rodney) of Brookhaven, Teresa Loper (Adrian) of Raleigh, Dena Green (Lance) of Raleigh, Bill Bryant (Cindy) of Tupelo; 17 grandchildren (Grandchild); and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Kennedy (Sherry) of Magee; sisters, Johnnie Tebo, Frances Tullos of Raleigh, Joanne Bowen of Raleigh, Brenda Joy Martin of Raleigh;  and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.
