USGS has confirmed a 3.2 magnitude earthquake hit about 4.3 miles southwest of Canton at 8:23 am.
The epicenter is just west of I-55 at Ragsdale Road and Daughtrey Drive.
Back in May, two separate minor earthquakes shook Madison within minutes of each other.
A 3.2 magnitude quake was followed thirty minutes later by a 3.0-magnitude quake.
Both took place southwest of Canton.
