DA Matt Sullivan Announces Criminal Convictions

District Attorney Matt Sullivan announces that during the Simpson County Circuit Court Term, a number of notable defendants were adjudicated guilty and sentenced to significant punishments for felony crimes. Jeffery Floyd received 5 years for Felony DUI. Charles Fredericks received 15 years for Burglary. David Evans received 5 years for Grand Larceny. Paul Dixon received a total of 6 years for two counts of Possession of Methamphetamine. Anntyra Smith received 5 years for Felony DUI. Christopher Hubbard received 10 years for Kidnapping. William Jason Griffith received 5 years for Grand Larceny. Steven Paige received a total of 12 years for three counts of Uttering Forgery. All the defendants’ sentences are conditioned on the specific terms of their final judgements, and each defendant shall be under the control of the Mississippi Department of Corrections for the entirety of their sentences.
