Mayor Berry and the board  asked Valadie to inspect the apartments which are in horrendous condition.

Mr. Valadie stated, “ they (the apartments)  are appalling.”  Valadie sighted numerous hazards.  The unsecured apartments have wild life living in the complex.  Water erosion could cause electrical problems in several areas.  No vent covers on dryer discharge is a potential hazard.  Over grown vegetation is growing into electrical power supply.  Vacant and unsecured apartments allows for crime and pest issues.  Plywood is covering windows and doors of several apartments.
