Co-Lin Career-Tech receives grant for non-traditional female students

            WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Career and Technical Education division has received a $5,000 Women in Non-Traditional Careers (WINC) grant. Grant funds will be used to provide tuition scholarships for current or prospective female students in one of Co-Lin’s predominately male career and technical programs. Current or prospective female students in the following programs are invited to apply: Automation & Control, Automotive, Commercial Truck Driving, Computer Networking, Construction Equipment, Cybersecurity, Diesel Equipment, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Precision Machining, or Welding.

            WINC scholarships will be awarded for the Spring 2020 semester. Student selection will be based on financial need and demand of scholarships funds. To apply, complete an application by January 17, 2020.
