Charles “Duck Hunter/Cuz” D. Vanderford, 53, of Puckett, Mississippi, went to be with his lord Saturday, April 11, 2020. He was born Saturday, September 10, 1966.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 12:00PM at Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. T.J. Bates will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Charles was born to Ray and Betty Vanderford, on September 10th, 1966. Charles was an avid outdoorsman, father, and friend to all. Charles never met a stranger, would help anyone in need and never ask for anything in return.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Vanderford; son, Jake “WaterHead” Vanderford (Jessica); daughter, Rebecca “Bec-Bec” Corbitt (Wesley); brother, Clinton Vanderford; sister, Linda Vanderford; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cody Nelson, Robert Christman, Daniel Kelly, Charlie Brown, Allen Rambo, Chris Grantham. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jason Russell, Joe Grantham and Pete Grantham.

Charles hated flowers, but cherished his wife, so in lieu of flowers donations may be made. To do this please visit his children’s facebook pages for the GoFundMe page.
