Known to most as “Papa”, he was an avid fisherman. Even in his last days when he did not know much that was going on, he was baiting his hook and casting his rod lying in his hospital bed. His annual fishing trips with his sons and grandsons was something he looked forward to all year. And that trip sure made the daughters and granddaughters just a bit jealous.
Glynn was a farmer by trade but picked up a bit of antiquing – or better known as ‘junking’ – in his later years. He loved helping others and had a strong work ethic until he retired – then his energy went into his fishing! He was a strong Christian and always said, “I know that I know that I know that when I leave this earth I will be in Heaven.” He will be celebrating this Christmas with Jesus. And what a party that will be!
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020, at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, off Hwy 28, Union, MS. at 1:00 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
