Today, I was informed Simpson County Road Manager, Barry Sparks, was fired from his position.  No details are available at this time.

We will have a complete article concerning today’s meeting (Monday, February 2nd).  The firing took place during Executive Session.

Statement from Board of Supervisors: Barry Sparks was terminated from his position of Simpson County Road Manager.  J. M. Hooker, assistant road manager, will  be in charge  until someone is hired for the position.
