The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 112:1: “Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in His commands.” The psalmist walked and talked daily with the Lord, his Maker. He knew the wisdom that comes with respect and reverence for God. Proper fear should discourage disobedience for the child of God, as it should for a natural child with regard to his parent. If rules and precepts are followed, love should flow freely and dispel all fear. Let us serve the Lord with gladness and enter His courts with praise. Amen!
