Bill Parham passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, at the age of 88. He was born on May 19, 1928, to his parents, the (late) Rester W. Parham and Edith (West) Parham in Grenada, MS.
In his earlier years, he joined the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol of MS, Magee Dinner Club, a member of many local Civitan originations, and his beloved, Jolly Hunting Club. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Magee. He retired in management from MS Power and Light Company, where he held his lifelong career.
Mr. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Grace (Vanhoozer) Parham; four sons, Wade Parham (Barbie), Randy Parham (Julie), Steve Parham (Carol), Scott Parham (Jennifer); one daughter, Lynda Parham; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and sister in law, Sue Parham.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby Parham and James Parham.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Monday, August 22, 2016, in the chapel of Tutor Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Buddy Keyes officiating. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Magee.
