D’Lo Mayor John Henry Berry visited MageeNews.com Wednesday, November 4, 2020 to discuss upcoming events in D’Lo.

Ya’ll know, John Henry is all about his city!  November 11, 2020   Veteran’s Day will be celebrated at the gazebo in the D’Lo park.  The guest speaker is Governor Tate Reeves.  John Henry encourages everyone to attend the special day! The celebration begins at 11:00 AM.

Did you know the marshals of D’Lo do not get paid?  Volunteers serve as police for the area.  A go-fund-me account has been established to raise money for items needed for the PD and the marshals themselves!  The “D’Lo Marshal Fund” can be found at https:/www.gofundme.com/f/do39lo-marshal-fund or by clicking here.

A GoFundMe campaign has been created. We desperately need equipment, that most departments take for granted. Like a computer, radio in the car, etc. and work done on the patrol car. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and will not only help the unpaid members of the D’Lo Marshal protect the Citizens of D’Lo in a professional manner, it is helping the citizens of D’Lo. Know that no one is taking any compensation for this fundraiser.

Check out John Henry’s video!  You never know what he is going to say!
