The Scriptural passage I’ll share for today is found in John 1:16: “From the fullness of His grace, we have all received one blessing after another.” The gospel writer and apostle knew from his own experience that Jesus, being full of grace and glory, was more than capable of sharing that same grace with all of those who would accept His gift of salvation. Grace is, as we know, the unmerited favor of God, but also, I love the definition that grace is God’s doing for us what we’re incapable of doing for ourselves. We are, indeed, at His mercy and are, as His children, covered by His grace. It is only through God that we receive blessings. Let us always be mindful of the source of our strength. It is by the grace of God through Christ Jesus. Amen!
