The Scriptural passage for today is found in Psalm 37:7: “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” As we so well know, patience is woefully in short supply in our world today; yet, God wants us to make it a part of our Christian walk. We are to wait patiently for and on Him, knowing He will provide what we need while the unsaved of this world are scurrying all about us with their devious means. We, as Christians, are to rely on God, seek His face, and live according to His precepts. He will provide. Amen!
Let’s be sure to share the love, joy, and kindness with all those with whom we come in contact today. Practice makes perfect, as we’ve always been told; therefore, if we do strive to make these three a part of your daily lives, they quickly become a part of us, and we, as a direct result, become a gentler people who put the needs of others before our own. Happy Saturday!
