Banking institutions are considered essential businesses, according to Dennis Ammann President of Peoples Bank and the US Government!  Dennis and I shared a virtual interview Wednesday as an opportunity to inform the people of Simpson and surrounding counties that Peoples Bank is going strong and will continue to do so!

Every loan with Peoples Bank will automatically receive a three month deferred payment.  “We live here…we were founded here…and we support our people,” stated Dennis.

Dennis has strong beliefs in the importance of small businesses.  During this time while bank lobbies are closed,  Peoples Bank is providing lunch to their  staff.  By providing lunch from a small business, Peoples continues to walk the walk in supporting small businesses.  “Small businesses are the backbone the country,” emphasized Dennis.

Ammann encourages everyone to be safe and use good judgment in all areas during these uncharted times.

Dennis’ great grandfather, Sidney Davis, guided Peoples Bank through the Great Depression as well as other trying times.  Dennis has learned first hand how to keep a bank progressing.

Mobile banking, ATM, drive through, phone, and the app are a few of the ways one can bank with Peoples Bank .

(Peoples Bank temporarily moves to all Drive-Thru service. Lobbies will be open for pre-arranged appointments if needed. Please call your local office for assistance.)
