The Scriptural passage for today is found in Isaiah 57:2: “Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.” What a comfort for the Christian to know that when this earthly life ends, he will rest in peace until Jesus makes His triumphal return. In death, all turmoil will cease; all cares of life will end; and we’ll lie down to rest. But we know we can say with all the saints who have gone before us, “If I die, I know that I will live again.” I find great comfort in this verse of Scripture. Amen!
