The clouds of Thursday did not keep folks from enjoying a day in Ural Everett Park!  Decked out in the glory of blooming roses, beautiful art, interesting books, food, Ural Everett Park was a vision of the Bicentennial Committee.  If you’ve never visited the park located on Main Street near the 5-way stop, put the trip on your “to do” list.  The exposed brick walls are probably my favorite!  Enough of what I think…let’s get on to the park!

Magee’s own Mary Ann Jones.

Tables with white cloths provided almost “fine” dining in Magee.  A lunch of brisket, chips, and dessert was available for purchase.

Magee High School art students displayed many of their drawings.

From the private collection of Larry and Dorothy Partridge. The artist is their son Jerrod Partridge

Magee’s own Katina Rankin as always was a ray of sunshine!  Katina is no longer in broadcasting but has begun a company of her own which films short videos.  She is just before entering the feature film business.

I hope you enjoy the pictures and videos…the day was fabulous!  Thanks to all the hard work of the Bicentennial committee.
