Arrest Made in Dollar General Robbery

On the date of Saturday, January 6, 2018 at approximately 2120 hours two unidentified black males robbed the Dollar General Store on Hwy 28 in Magee. The males left the scene of foot toward a wooded area with an undisclosed amount of money.

A search of the area did not locate the two robbers but did locate some evidence used in the crime. The evidence was collected and sent to the forensic lab for DNA analysis. The investigation continued as evidence was processed and search warrant conducted to further the investigation.

As the investigation continued these suspects was later identified, as a result, arrest warrants were issued for Lance McCullough and Dearrious Gray of Magee. Both suspects have been arrested and charged with Armed Robby, bond was sent a $75,000.00 by Simpson County Justice Court Judge. This case is still an ongoing investigation and more arrest my be fourth coming.
