Alonzo (Bud) Rainey Jr, went home to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the age of 56. He was born on February 6, 1964, to his parents Alonzo Rainey Sr, and Reba L (Thompson) Rainey.
Alonzo was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Simpson County.
Alonzo is survived by his mother, Reba L. (Thompson) Rainey; one brother, Jeff Rainey; three sisters, Michelle Parker, Tina Olney (Tony), Addie Henderson (Randy); nine nephews and three nieces.
Alonzo was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo Rainey Sr; his grandparents, Alonzo “Roy” W. Rainey and Nattie Lacie (Weathersby) Rainey.
Visitation for family will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Stonewall Cemetery in Shivers, MS.
