Philip Allan tragically lost his life Wednesday afternoon doing what he did best helping others!
Allan was traveling on Hwy 49 when he noticed a vehicle that had wrecked. Being a first responder his first action was to radio the accident in to dispatch and then rush to aide the others involved. When attempting to assist the victims of the accident Allan was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Allan was transferred to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Allan was know for his willingness to help others. He was a true servant.
