A Large and Successful Crazy Day is in the Books

Crazy Day was a very successful day!

The day started early with Dash for Cash run sponsored by Peoples Bank.

Mayor Dale Berry welcomed everyone to Crazy Day and presented two plaques and keys to the city. The ones honored were Sam McWilliams and Brennon McNair. Both men are athletes in the minor league baseball. Brennon was not home and his parents Fountaine and Sonya McNair accepted his key in his honor.

The weather was beautiful compared to the previous years. The perfect day help full vendors by the groves. Over 133 vendors registered with the Chamber. The day turned out to be one of the largest Crazy Days in many years.

There was a large participation in the antique card division and a good participation in the antique tractors.

Plenty of entertainment for kids with rides, inflatables, trains, face painting and ballon animals.

The smell of the food vendors attracted people for blocks.

Touch a truck and demonstration from Southern Pine all help make the day a successful and fun experience.

The band Hairicane performed most of the day for the crowds enjoyment.
