Frances Anita Rogers Stevens of Pearl, Mississippi

Frances Anita Rogers Stevens, 82, of Pearl, Mississippi, passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Friday, November 20, 2020, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Wednesday, July 6, 1938, in Columbia, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Mickey Ferguson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Frances was the eldest child of six children and the only girl. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

During her career, she was an insurance clerk, a bookkeeper, a police crossing guard, and a payroll coordinator. Frances was highly respected and loved by all with whom she worked.

Frances loved to travel with her adoring husband, Milford. They enjoyed seeing the sights all across the country. Her hobbies included crocheting, cross stitching, and ceramics.

Known as Fran or Moma Fran to family and friends, Frances was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Basel Rogers, and Bessie Elvera Rogers; one brother, Bobby Rogers; and one sister-in-law, Carolyn Rogers.

Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-three years, Milford Stevens of Pearl; three children, Darlene Stevens Cash of Arizona, Steve Stevens and wife, Michele of Pearl, and Brenda Stevens Logan and husband, Jerry of Georgia; six grandchildren, Eric Cash, Kelly Stevens Rineheart and husband, Kenneth, Adam Cash, Bridget Pauli Kane and husband Sean, David Stevens, and Aaron Cash; three great-grandchildren and numerous extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, Basel Ray Rogers and wife, Sandra of Columbia, Joe Rogers of Columbia, Danny Rogers and wife, Billie of Columbia, Jimmy Rogers and wife, Becky of Columbia; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Cash, Eric Cash, Jerry Logan, David Oxborrow, Kenneth Rineheart, and David Stevens.
