Dickey is the oldest of the Honea boys, by day he works for Allergan selling Botox and other products to help keep the world beautiful and wrinkle free. Dickey and his wife Lynda are the proud parents of two wonderful boys, Connor (9) and Preston (5). A graduate of Simpson County Academy and Mississippi State University, he works with the sales of the website as well as site architecture.

Breck is the youngest son of Miss Sue and a graduate of Simpson Academy, Copiah Lincoln Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in insurance and finance.  Breck owns a State Farm Agency in Montgomery, Al and is married to Carolyn Calhoun Honea.  They are proud parents of their first child Larkin.  Larkin is the most beautiful little girl ever!

Nearly 30 years ago, Sue Honea began sending an encouraging newsletter to some of her closest friends, members of the BYW (Baptist Young Women) of First Baptist Church of Magee.  It contained the members' prayer requests and family updates, as well as information about upcoming events.  As technology advanced, so did the message, becoming an email that reached far and wide.  That email update evolved  into this site, which has become a source for news and information for Magee, MS and the rest of Simpson County. A graduate of Magee High School and the University of Southern Mississippi and an active member of First Baptist Church, Sue is one of Magee's biggest cheerleaders and uses her creativity and passion for our community to help our city grow.

Michele is a proud Magee wife and mother. Married to Ritchie Womack of Magee, Michele has three children, Crystal and Garrett Boone and Hannah Womack. Michele is a member of Overflow Church in Magee and a devout Christian.  Michele cares deeply for people and wishes all could be loved and love one another. A 1991 graduate from Puckett High School, Michele worked for her alma mater as elementary web master for five years. She is an accomplished photographer with 15 years experience.  Michele also enjoys hunting.

Michele is The Prez's right hand girl. She manages the office, sells advertising, works as a reporter, posts pictures and articles, designs ads and develops/implements new ideas for MageeNews.com.  Michele is a people person, so naturally one of her most important jobs at MageeNews.com is public relations.
Patrick Sanders

From the heart of Magee is Christy Wilson. As a graduate of Simpson County Academy, she was involved with several organizations and had previous experience as editor-in-chief of the yearly Annual and reporter for Future Business Leaders of America. With an eye for writing and reporting, Christy joined MageeNews.com in April of 2011 as a contributing writer, photographer, and anchor for various live-streamed events. Christy plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi School of Mass Communication and Journalism in pursuit as a Broad Journalist and bring new innovations and ideas to MageeNews.com.
Brandon Johnston

A senior at Simpson Academy, Brandon Johnston has been associated with MageeNews.com from its beginning. Brandon works with the live stream, commentating ballgames, bookkeeping, the forum and keeping Miss Sue straight. Brandon plans to attend Co-Lin Simpson County branch and then Mississippi State University majoring in engineering. Brandon is the son of Dan and Gwen Johnston of Magee.

Long before the birth of MageeNews.com, Gail was often "recruited" by The Prez for one of her projects. In fact, Gail has been a worker bee for the "Idea Woman" as she likes to call Sue for more years than she cares to count. Now she is again enjoying working for Sue at MageeNews.com where she helps with posting, hard copy design/printing and general brainstorming with The Prez. Gail lives in Magee with her husband Arnold. She is the author of "Cold Biscuits," and the owner and renovator of the Johnny Knight Treehouse in Mendenhall. Gail is the Executive Director of the Magee Chamber of Commerce.

Dana, a Mississippi native, was raised near Magee and also in Colorado Springs, CO. She is a graduate of Mize Attendance Center and Colorado Tech.   Dana resides in Magee with her husband, Tony and three children, Rachel, Krissy and Brent.  Dana enjoys photography, church, music, sports and just about anything outdoors.
