Sue Stuff

Request from Tawesia Meador:

Hey Sue,
Please put out a plea to all our wonderful prayer warriors that many prayers are needed for my sister, Brenda's youngest, Molly King.  She is 5 months pregnant and is experiencing extreme complications. We need everyone to pray, pray, pray for Mike and Molly and this sweet baby. Thanks to everyone. We do know that we serve an awesome God and He does mighty works every day!   Tawesia

Tommy Everett is has been moved to Swing Bed in Magee---Room 123

Mrs. Virginia Sandford is in the hospital in Jackson following surgery to remove part of her colon.

I have had many requests for additional information concerning Clara Aucoin.

Below is an update of Clara and her condition.

I am going back to the National Jewish Hospital in Denver for treatment of the Sarcoidosis. It is a disease, somewhat like lupus, a connective tissue disease, that I have had for about 15 years. They don't know what causes it and there is no cure. It will not kill you, but some of the side diseases (such as pneumonia) can kill you. Normally it is very much live an let live, but in my case, mine flared up big time.

The disease (i am putting this in layman's terms) flared up and directed all my calcium into my blood rather than my bones. That made me sick and gave the symptoms of a stroke, which was why there was confusion early on. A CT scan showed there had been no stroke, so they were back to trying to figure out why my blood calcium was so high and why I was out of my head - brain swelling, all that stuff. The result was the Sarcoicosis.

Of course this is considered a "rare" occasion - according to Google, and the doctor in Baptist was quite interested. He said he would be watching this to see what happens with it. I will too.

My mother has been back and forth. I stayed with her for about the first month, going back and forth with her, so even if my car has been here does not mean I have been here.

One thing I want you to make sure everyone knows, it is breaking my heart to leave Magee. When I came here it felt like the thing to do, it felt good, that made the choice much easier. I don't feel that way at all. I don't want to leave. I am already crying about missing my friends. Every time I see one of them I start to cry. I love Magee.

Also, I do truly love Magee. People who have not been anywhere else are blessed in that they have Magee as a home, but they are also jaded because they may not have seen what else is out there. Magee is just about the prefect hometown. Good people, good leadership, a foundation of concern and caring and working in God's will. If you don't come to town in August, Magee is just the perfect place to live and raise a family.

I wish everyone I know, the very best, I will miss them all.

Clara's phone number is :   601-940-6311

Continue to remember Clara in your prayers.

Just as Clara said, Magee is just about the  perfect hometown!
