Hello everyone, I am so sorry I am so late updating. Robert is doing good right now. He was given his vincristine Monday but we are having to hold his nightly chemo another week. His platelets are still too low. I will take him back Monday to have blood work checked. Robert's port will not allow blood return to come out so we may have to get a cath-flow done to help unclog his port. Robert is on steroids and he told me that he was going to try extra hard to be good and not get so upset about things. He is doing pretty good with controlling his emotions. I know this whole illness is frustrating for him. His life is completely changed. He is very excited to return to real school in August. School is only a few weeks away. Please pray that Robert will do well and stay healthy. We need this normalcy back in our lives.
We hope you all have a great rest of the week. I'll keep you posted on Robert's progress, oh yeah, Robert's temp continues to hoover around 100.0. I am trying to "remain calm". Love to you all..... The Grubbs Family

Mrs. Grubbs,
You don't know me, but my husband, James, is a cancer survivor. We've have been following Robert's story for a while and I would like to speak with you about him. Call Sue for info about us. This has been on my heart for a while and very much in my prayers.
