Stay Cool in the “Heat” of Life
As the summer heat rises, let your temper stay cool. It’s so easy sometimes to get caught up in the little unimportant things in life, and forget what really matters: living for Jesus and having a life that honors Him. It is refreshing to know that no matter how many times you fail, His grace is still bigger than any of your fears or failures. His loving arms are always open, ready for you to come back home to your Father. Here are some Scriptures to help you remember God’s love for you even in the hard times.
“I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice.” Psalm 16:8-9
“The Lord will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears.” Zephaniah 3:17
“Don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” Matthew 6:34
“Those who look to God for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” Psalm 43:5
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
“I will be with you, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
“Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Sue I needed this encouragement today. Some times it seems that this world has completed forgot about God. I know that he will be with you right way to the end, but we do not trust in that as we should
