Hazel Womack, 89, of Mendenhall passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Simpson County on July 1, 1921, a daughter of the late Willie Lee (Busby) and Walter Richard Runnels. She was married to the late R. T. Womack. They had one son, Billy Tyree Womack who preceded her in death.
Grandchildren who survive her are: Robert Tyree Womack, IV, Walter Richard Womack, and Melissa Kay Womack, all of Magee.
Other survivors include a sister, Bonnie Foster of D'Lo and great granddaughter, Lily Claire Womack of Magee.
Hazel was preceded in death by a brother, W. L. (Bud) Runnels and a sister, Helen Feltf.
Visitation was Tuesday 5 pm to 8 pm. at Tutor Funeral Home, Magee.
Religious service was held at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel, Magee, MS, at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 21st, with burial in Magee Cemetery.
