Magee's 13-15 Softball All Star Team is heading to the World Series!
These awesome girls clinched the title Monday night…..giving this group of girls the honor of being the first ever from Magee to make it to the top!
The softball program in Magee is not "old"----this team has set quite a goal for our program!
Thanks to the work of David Dunn, Jimmy Zilla, Mayor Jimmy Clyde, Board of Alderman…and the citizens of Magee, for making a commitment to the growth of a program for GIRLS! The Sportsplex is a diamond in Magee's crown!
The World Series will be played in Pineville, La on July 31st.
Head Coach- Sarah Jordan, Asst. Coaches- David Wood and Tommy Thornton.
Girls record at the State Tournament was 5-0. They were the first team ever from Magee to go to the Dixie Youth Fast Pitch World Series.
The State Tournament was held in Leakesville, Ms and the World Series Tournment will be in Pineville, La.
There will be 11 States attending the World Series: LA, MS, GA, NC, VA, TX, AR, AL, FL, SC, TN.
