PREPARING THE FOUNDATION –
Xavier Magee of Simpson County is working a bulldozer in the ground preparation for Wesson High School’s new softball field.
Magee is a student in Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s construction equipment operation program on the college’s Wesson Campus.
Students receive valuable hands-on training while assisting the community.
The softball field is a joint effort between Copiah County Board of Supervisors, Copiah County School Board, Co-Lin, along with parents and supporters of Wesson High School. They hope to complete the project in time for the spring season.
