In 1946, after World War II, Mr. Lacy's daughter, Mary Ruth and her husband, F. J. Dickey, moved to Magee and both began to work in the store.  Following Mr. C. L. Horn's retirement because of poor health, the name was changed to Horn and Dickey.  This was in 1953 and in 1961 L. G. Horn retired and the business changed hands and name to Dickey's.  It was incorporated in 1970.  It was owned and operated by Mary Ruth Dickey after the death of her husband and later was sold to their daughter, Sue Honea.

Mr. Lacy G. Horn (1882-1961) was married to Bertha Caughman (1894-1981) and they had five children: L. G. Horn, Jr. married Libby Latimer; Mary Ruth Horn married F. J. Dickey; Willie Grace Horn married Tommy Everett; Bertha Jean Horn married Knox Ross, and Paul Horn married Cynthia Orcutt.

Mr. Carl Horn (1880-1953) was married to Mary Bridges (1889-1986).
