Paint it Purple!  Friday, September 21st, is World’s Alzheimer’s Day.  Everyone is encouraged to wear purple to promote awareness of Alzheimer.  Put purple bows on your door, purple balloons on your mail box, maybe a purple tie or shirt, a purple dress …a purple bow in your daughter’s hair….just make it known…please wear purple.
Marge King is doing better…still lots of problems…but at least making progress.
Please remember the Truitt Williamson family.  Truitt’s funeral is at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Colonial Chapel.
I learned late Tuesday afternoon that Kelly Wyatt Chain died Tuesday afternoon.  Kelly is the daughter of Howard and Ann Wyatt.  Ann works at Peoples Bank….and always has a smile on her sweet face when you enter the bank.  Kelly was only about 37.  She was in a car accident several years ago…and then developed an illness.  She has been a patient at Hillcrest …her father set by her bedside everyday…even though Kelly was not aware.  I will post arrangements as they become available.
Special Prayers for Charles Albert Massey, Joell McBeth, Easter Bynum, and Ruby Rankin (who is home and doing better)
Again, special thanks to Gail Hederman, Executive Director of the Chamber, and Larry Partridge, President of the Chamber, for the great job they did at Crazy Day.  I’m telling you, if you missed Crazy Day…just make plans for next year!
Guess what??? I think Baby Larkin and Carolyn are coming to see me Thursday!!! I can’t wait.  Speaking of waiting…it is about one week to Dickey’s wedding (September 29th) A group of us will be heading to Kansas City for the festive event.  And by the way, I am thrilled!
Have a good week!
