*One of my very good Chi Omega friends from college, Penny, emailed the information below. This is something we all need to be aware!
THIS IS A WARNING. I realized on Saturday when I couldn't find 2 of my credit cards and called the companies, that my cards and my phone, I suspect, were making their way across Indiana. There were numerous purchases including one at an airport where my card rented a smart cart. I suspect that the cart was needed to transport stolen luggage with the stolen goods bought by my cards through security.
During the flight, my husband put my purse under his seat. The men (and I use that term very loosely) sitting behind us stole my phone (with the 400 contacts that weren't backed up) and the credit cards. I've reported this to everyone I can think of as I suspect this isn't their only transgression.
Anyway, put your carryon's in front of you where you can see them. Apparently bad guys are everywhere. What really makes me angry (again, other words come to mind), is that those "men" watched my distress when I couldn't find my phone. I have 3 pit bulls and an American bulldog/springer spaniel mix and one big, very angry husband who would like to meet these folks after I shoot them.
