At the Thursday night called meeting of the City of Magee Board of Alderman, the following decision was made.
"The August 21, 2012 suspension of officer Joe Andrews be amended from 30 days without pay to 14 days without pay with one year probation."
Additional information from the board meeting:
The board also approved the 2013 budget with a 2 salary increase to all employees excluding the Mayor, Board of Aldermen, City attorney and city judge. The total budget is $7,341,193.00.

Magee has a great volleyball team-try to catch a game-The Ridgeland game was a huge victory for the Lady Trojans!

Suggestion for the City Recreational Department
"I feel that we need a water splash pad for our kids. There is no basketball held through the city for our kids. I think they need Pee-Wee cheerleaders for girls during football season. The only thing the city offers for girls is softball."

Joe Andrews needs his job back now and this stupid board of alderman needs to stop playing politics and protecting Willie McDonald, who used the board of alderman to destroy a good cop while protecting Willie McDonald, who is good friend of the entire board of alderman. Joe is good cop being railroad by the Willie Mcdonald who was arrested for not moving his car from an intersection and Joe was just doing his job. The board of aldermanneed to loose their job next year and Joe does not need to be suspended when he did not do anytrhing wrong.
