Theron T. Chain, 86 of Mt. Olive, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at Magee General Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will be in Rutland Cemetery in Mt. Olive . Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 9:00pm Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the funeral home.

Mr. Chain was a deacon, song leader and the Sunday school superintendent of First Assembly of God of Magee.

Mr. Chain is survived by four children: Sandra Sharon (Terrell) Pearce,Mt. Olive, Judy Michelle (Greg) Toney, Collins, Morgan Thomas (Dianne) Chain, Mt. Olive and Garson Grant (Johnna) Chain, Braxton sister: Joyce Jones, New Hebron grandchildren: Yancy Sanford, Torrie Smith, Josh Pearce, Nathan Chain, Jason Chain, Nicole Craft, Adam Toney and Zack Toney sister-in-law: Dottie Earl Chain fourteen great-grandchildren one great-great-grandson and two step-grandchildren: Robin Caraway and William Joseph Pearce and 15 Great grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents: James Quitman Chain and Vera L. Norris Chain spouse: Rachel Jones Chain two brothers: Fledell "Buster" Chain and Grover Chain son: Samuel Craig Chain sisters: Carol McKenzie and Hazel Myers.
