City of Magee Mourns Loss of City Hall Employee A Magee City Hall employee, Veneida Forrest, 44, passed away Saturday morning at approximately 4:00 am, after a four year battle with breast cancer. Miss Veneida was employed at Magee City Court Clerk. She has been at Magee City Hall for almost 13 years. Forrest, who is better known to the community as, Miss Veneida, was at her mother's residence when the family called emergency officials early Saturday morning.  Miss Veneida was married to Tony Forrest. They shared one daughter, Toneida. Arrangements are expected to be made by Forrest's family today. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
